The October issue of Wine Enthusiast is a big one for us! It includes 90-point ratings for both our Cycles Gladiator Pinot Noir and our Broadside Chardonnay. These are two incredibly delicious wines that hail from California’s Central Coast where winemaker Adam LaZarre has been making wine for over twenty years. He loves crafting wines that are accessible and can be enjoyed by most on any given night. These two wines are just that.

Here’s what Jim Gordon said about Cycles Gladiator 2020 Pinot Noir
“This rich, full-bodied and warmly spicy wine offers ripe, luscious black cherry and rhubarb flavors accented by wood smoke, cinnamon and forest floor notes that give plenty to appreciate.”
Jim Gordon
This 90 point score came along with a Best Buy nomination as well. This bring the total Best Buy count for Cycles Gladiator from Wine Enthusiast to twenty four.
In the same issue, Matt Kettmann reviewed our Broadside 2020 Chardonnay and had this to say about it
“This widely available wine will satisfy Chardonnay fans of many types. Golden hued in the glass, the bottling shows macadamia nut, lemon curd and brine on the nose. The palate is toasty with hazelnut and lemon cream flavors, but there is tons of vibrant acidity and savory sea salts to keep it compelling.”
Matt Kettmann
In addition to the 90 point score from Matt, he also nominated it the elite Editors’ Choice award.
We hope that these scores and reviews show the caliber of wine that we deliver over and over again with winemaker Adam LaZarre at the helm.
